May 6 - Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

Here are praise reports and prayer requests for this week.

Praise Reports:

- Praise the Lord: Cindy received her background check approval which will allow her to go into Hydebank Prison with Kairos prison ministry.

- Praise the Lord: Jo Anne's system is adjusting to the M.S. medication now.

- Praise the Lord: Tim, a young man who is attending our wee church regularly now will be going to the York Pastors and Leaders Conference next month.

Thank you for praying for the following with us:

- Pray for Pastor Leo and Cheryl Rose of Inverness Bible Fellowship(IBF)(our visa sponsor). Their appeal of the government's decision to not allow them to remain in the UK was denied. They will file a 2nd appeal in an upper court, but it will require £20-£30k ($30-$45k) which they do not have.  They are not soliciting individual donations, but are waiting in faith for the Lord to supply. Let's join them in prayer believing for Him to supply.

- Pray that the recent audit of IBF will be acceptable to the Home Office. "Immigration" is a political hot button issue and the officials are looking for any excuse to void sponsorships.

- Pray for the future direction of the leaders of Celebrate Recovery (CR)in Ballymena as CR will be coming to an end this month. Many of the leadership team want to continue involvement with a recovery ministry. Please pray for the Lord to direct us and open doors to make a way, showing His will.

- Please lift up Sally, mother of one of the members of our care team in America. She has just been diagnosed with stage 2 ovarian cancer.

- Women's study will begin a 4-week study through the book of Philippians to take them up to summer. There has been even more interest from the community of ladies wanting to participate in the studies. Praise the Lord

- Mr Topping's, the headmaster at Broughshane Primary School, daughter of 16 attempted suicide and was in ICU, she has passed away today.  Please pray for this Christian family as they deal with this horrible tragedy.

Thank you for your faithful prayer support
God bless you,
Rick & Cindy Johnston
