February 28 Praises & Prayer Requests

Praise Reports:

- Praise the Lord - We have received permanent residency approval!!! All restrictions are lifted and there are no more requirements from the immigration department of the government as we have been granted "indefinite leave to remain."

- Praise the Lord - Jo Anne is home recuperating from her surgical operation. She is weak but moving forward

- Praise the Lord - I had a warm and encouraging visit with Pastor Mike  in Warrington England.

- Praise the Lord - The test results for the lump on Leslie's face was benign.

Please pray for the following with us:
- Pray for Mike: 1) his body is attacking the liver with an auto-immune deficiency and 2) blood vessels in the esophogus are exposed and thinned and any rupture would be extremely serious.

- Please continue to pray with us for Jacob, 8 and his mum Karen who has to be with him in the classroom every day for him to avoid severe reactions of fear. This is a Christian family with 2 other children, the entire family is effected by this - pray for strength and peace for them all.

- Pray for
Leslie who will now have the benign cyst on her face removed. The area is near nerve endings.

- Pray for restoration to full health for Daniel, 2 & a half years old and salvation for Duncan, both in Scotland,

- Pray for fruit from the Ireland 4 Jesus crusade that will be coming through Ballymena the last week of May. That we will as a church prepare for new converts to come to CBV and the members will accept and actively help disciple them.

- Pray for success for Rick as I take on the leadership role over stewards and counselors for the I4J crusade.

- Pray for Cindy as she leads training this weekend for the upcoming Tres Dias weekend 'retreat'

- Pray for Gail who is not in a good place spiritually at this time
- Please pray for Linsey to desire fellowship once again.

- Pray for 'B' that the Lord "will extend this time of grace please and restore to her the joy she once had in you, We commit her to Your keeping and entrust her to your care.".

Thank you for your faithful prayer support   God bless you,

Rick & Cindy Johnston

February 7 Praises & Prayer Requests

Praise Reports:

- Praise the Lord - Cindy is doing very well over the death of her step-mom, Vernie.

- Praise the Lord -  There was a great turn out for the Healing on the Streets training - there are now 12 churches in the town involved with this outreach each Saturday morning.

- Praise the Lord - It was a great meeting for prayer with fellow pastors in town.

Please pray for the following with us:

- Please pray with us for a wee local lad of 8, J. and his mum K. who has to be with him in the classroom every day to avoid severe reactions of fear from him. This is a Christian family with 2 other children, the entire family is effected by this - pray for strength and peace for them all.

- Pray for J. who is scheduled for a surgical procedure tomorrow, Wednesday. We pray a bed will become available in the hospital so she will be able to have the operation and a smooth recovery.

- Pray for B. that the Lord "will extend this time of grace please and restore to her the joy she once had in you, We commit her to Your keeping and entrust her to your care."

- Please pray for L. in California who has been diagnosed with severe arthritis in her hands. She was a work collegue who assigned my calls for source inspection. I don't think she is saved, but the Lord is working on her heart.

- Pray for Jan's neice, Allison for a safe pregnancy, peace of mind and salvation

- Pray for G. who is not in a good place spiritually at this time

- Please pray for L. to desire fellowship once again.

- Pray for the Lord's will to be done considering UK pastor's prayer in York next week. Pastor Dave is still in America dealing with a health issue for their daughter (who also needs prayer). Not sure if the meeting will occur, plane tickets are bought and if not prayer, I would like to go to Warrington to visit with pastor Mike Hoile, but need circumstances to come together for that to happen.

- We are still waiting to receive our Permanent Residency documentation to come in the post - it will be so nice to have this in hand!

Thank you for your faithful prayer support   God bless you,

Rick & Cindy Johnston
