May 26 Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

Here are praise reports and prayer requests for this week.

Praise Reports:

- Praise the Lord: We heard from the Charity Commission that they will be granting charitable status to Calvary Braid Valley!
- Praise the Lord: Cindy's difficulties in getting the vetting process completed for Kairos have been overcome.
- Praise the Lord: Our first men's fellowship/Bible study meeting at Glory Be café in town was a deep blessing - plus had some yummy ice cream cake!
- Praise the Lord: The first step toward determining the Lord's plan for a multi-church recovery ministry to replace CR has been established as we will meet bi-weekly throughout the summer to wait on the Lord and hear from Him.

Thank you for praying for the following with us:

- Pray for the future direction of Celebrate Recovery in Ballymena as CR has come to an end. Many of the leadership team want to continue involvement with a recovery ministry. Please pray for the Lord to show His will and direct us.
- Continue to pray that the Faith Mission outreach Tim is involved with to the Tannybrake townland will have success and the Lord will bring some to faith and encouragement given to the believers in the area.
- Pray for Trish in Belfast, whom we know from Tres Dias. She is in an induced coma in ICU after suffering a seizure.
- Please pray for our friends Tom and Cheryl Rees who were CC missionaries in Gloucester, England but fell victim to the Immigration office's removal of Christian ministers. Pray for comfort and direction of their future.
- The city council has teamed with several churches in town and is hosting the Methodist modern art collection. We pray that this Christian-themed artwork will reach some of the lost to trigger faith.

Thank you for your faithful prayer support,
Blessings,
Rick and Cindy Johnston

May 20 Praise Reports and Prayer Requests

Here are praise reports and prayer requests for this week.

Praise Reports:
- Praise the Lord: The women's Bible study was a blessing beyond belief. Great discussions and involvement with wonderful, spontaneous prayer.

- Praise the Lord: There was a very meaningful time with the residents at Maghaberry prison who were at the Kairos meeting, as they seriously confronted the issue of God's forgiveness for them

- Praise the Lord: The church had a special evening of fellowship at Tim's house. He was an excellent host!

- Praise the Lord: Tim is (among other great things) a techie able to work with the website!

Thank you for praying for the following with us:

-  Pray for the future direction of the leaders of Celebrate Recovery in Ballymena as CR will be coming to an end this month. Many of the leadership team want to continue involvement with a recovery ministry. Please pray for the Lord to direct us and open doors to make a way, showing His will.

- Pray that the Faith Mission outreach to Tannybrake townland that Tim is involved with will bring some to faith and encouragement to the believers.

- The city council has teamed with several churches in town and is hosting the Methodist modern art collection. We pray that this Christian-themed artwork will reach some of the lost to trigger faith.

- Pray for Pastor Leo and Cheryl Rose of Inverness Bible Fellowship (our visa sponsor). They are filing a 2nd appeal in an upper court of the government's decision to not allow them to remain in the UK, but it will require £20-£30k ($30-$45k) which they do not have.  They are not soliciting individual donations, but are waiting in faith for the Lord to supply. Let's join them in prayer believing for Him to supply and to bring a decision to allow them to stay in the UK.

- Inverness Bible Fellowship (IBF) is the actual sponsor of the visas. Pray that they will be strengthened in the Lord and have leaders risen up.

Thank you for your faithful prayer support

God bless you,
